early post

Starting today ~ Wednesday ~I am going to start responding to comments in my comments section..I think this is a nice thing to do but sometimes my day just gets too busy to check back, but I am going to make a point of doing it starting now! So check back please.

Yesterday I sat on an airplane!! Yes...on it!!! Not in it. I was getting a bath and had my tub full of bubbles and got in it and sat down...on a damn airplane! While I was in my bedroom and the bath was filling Gaige put 4 of his airplanes in the bathtub for me to play with! Now that is quite a wake up call! But wasnt it sweet of him to share his airplanes with me? Spoken like a true Grandmother.

I am posting early tonight b/c I am going to work. My lady Peggy that I told you about before that was learning to walk is having a shunt put in her brain tomorrow. She has fluid built up on her brain, a common problem in the elderly, so they will put the shunt in and hopefully she will be better than ever! Tonight I am just filling in for one of the girls with Elva, my 95 year old lady who is so sweet and you cannot believe she is 95! So have a great day! See You all tomorrow!

I think that you will like responding to people in the comment section.

I always like to respond people that comment for three basic reasons.
1. They were kind enough to comment and it is one way of thanking them.
2. I like having the last word.
3. As a blogwhore, I like to see the maximum number of comments that I can even if it is just me.

The last two reasons aren't really true. ;)

It is nice to respond to comments, but it can take up a lot of time.

I just tailor it to the time I've got available...at the time. :D

i think it is wonderful that you are so loved that he shared his airplanes. now that is a true sign of real love!
he sounds just adorable....

my friend, Snickerdoodles has had a relationship with shunts. my poor dear suffers much. they don't help. she is young and a single mom of wonderful Jacob. she hurts so much...i so do hope that your patient finds relief with her procedure.

i hope you get some extra rest tomorrow. we don't want you getting sick. take care. hugs, always hugs.

Well I stepped on one of those Life Game spinners the other day. And yeah I feel your pain!! But what a sweetheart, he wanted to share his toys. It's so rare that they do.
Have a great day with your lady. I love older ladies. The stories they tell, their history it's just fascinating. It's like they are a link to the past. Enjoy your day with her!!

I know what you mean about being so caught up with the day, it's hard sometimes responding to everyone's comments but that's what I find so entertaining with blogs, so many out there are catchy but it does take time to read and respond to most

Now that has to be the strangest thing I've read yet. You sat on an airplane. I had visions of you ontop of a 747 sort of like the Dr. Strangelove movie. Glad it was only your grandkids plane.

You do sound like a grandma...my mom would say the same things. I would get in the bath, sit on one of those things and start yelling "*&^*&@@!!" But I am still just a mom. Sweetness comes later??
I hope your friend is feeling well.

Fuzz: I always check back to your blog to see your responses...which are usually very very funny!!!

TC: I only work a couple nights a week if that, so I should have the time but sometimes this house is so chaotic!

Chana: I have another friend with a shunt and she has had it for years and no problem so I am hoping for the same for Peggy. Dont worry about me getting rest, when I went to work last night I slept. When Elva goes to bed so do I. But thanks for caring!

Siren:when I step on one of those matchbox cars in my barefeet I just about go through the ceiling!

Laura: All of my older ladies have a story to tell...I love listening. Some of them have been through some really rough times. They are hardy stock, thats why they have lived so long. I adore them all.

Dela: I try to leave comments on everyones blog...if I have a really busy day its hard to do but I do try. Hows the new apartment coming along?

Dr John: it felt like a 747!!!!!

I see you got the underlining thing fixed/figured out!

Too funny about getting into a tub and thinking you're going to soak in a nice hot bath...and then you sit on an airplane! Yikes!

Funny thing about the comments- OW and I were just talking about this today! Talking about how to respond...not having time to email everyone and not everyone having an email to respond to, and responding in the comments section, but not sure if people come back to read where they left a comment!

Sending prayers for Peggy with her surgery!

Michele: I think when they figure out that you respond to their comments they will come back to read it. I just realized when you said about the underline thingie that it was fixed!!!! lol..I didnt even notice that it wasnt underlined today....I didnt do anything different..figure that one out!
