The sun is shining!!!

It is a beautiful day in Ohio! I am still trying to get used to not working.....its quite a change for me. Although I still do work occasionally. I fill in when someone needs some time off or whatever. I have a job here in town that I do a couple times a week but he has been in the hospital although he is out now.

Janice, my best friend is getting ready to go to New Jersey for a week. The last time she went to NJ I went with her. Her step daughter had minor surgery over the Thanksgiving holiday( 2 years ago) so we went up and babysat the kids and cooked the Thanksgiving dinner. Her step daughter has 5 kids! We had a great time!! We even took Janices rottweiler with us. ( Could you imagine someone coming to visit you for a week with a rottie????) But Raja( the rottie) is great with the kids and very well behaved in the house. I would love to go with her this time but its just not possible to leave my Mom for a week. Janices step daughter is Jennifer...and Jennifer has Cassandra (12 or 13), Alexis (11 or 12), twins Micheal and Miranda ( 5 or 6) and David ( 4 or 5). Im not sure about exact ages....beautiful children. David has cancer of the kidney...they removed his kidney about 6 months ago. Since then they have discover lesions on his lungs and he has just really had a rough time of it. He is taking chemo again and it really takes a toll on this little guy. So any prayers you could offer for this family would be greatly appreciated. They are a great family and have been through some real bad times lately. I forgot to mention Micheal, Jennifers husband...a super guy. Also a super Father.

You wonder how we get through the bad times of our lives....none of us know what is around the corner. God gives us the strength when we need it the most. God bless you all...have a great day...Catch ya later!

I wrote my doctor's thesis on how people survive bad things happening to them. Or to be more exact how they could continue to believe in a loving God after what they had gone through. God does indeed give us the strength.

I love the saying "God doesn't give us anything we can't handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much."

I will include David in my prayers.

I was making my last comment when I got the notice on yours. We are commenting at the same time! LOL!

I have a yorkie too. But he doesn't make tootsie rolls. His name is Cubby Bear, he is 8 years old and has seniority over my husband.

Dear Catch, Please count on my prayers for David and his family, through our own challenges now, I am definitly finding strength in people in this world, and re-examining what I previously thought of God and religion- which was rather negative to be honest. I love the comment from Mimi, couldn't agree more. I have a cat named Stanley who is, along with my husband, my lifeline right now

I actually had 2 yorkies....Dolly, the one I have now is actually my Moms....she is a prissy little girl. I had Toby for 14 years and just had him put down a few months ago....and believe me...I sobbed! he was my boy! I still think of him and miss him.
