Happy Birthday Ty!

Anyone have anything exciting planned for the holiday? Personally I would be quite content to lounge around all day in my jammies, but I doubt that will happen.

I can feel Fall weather in the air, and I love the Fall. I just hope we have a mild winter without too much cold. It seems as soon as the kids get back to school it starts feeling like Fall. Both of my grandsons, Gaige and Zack, will be in preschool this year. They are going to different schools though because Gaige is going back to Headstart where he went last year. Its probably a good thing they will be separated this year....lol. They are so ornery when they are together. I went to town today and bought them some socks, a belt, and some spiderman underwear and shirts. I bought them jeans last week. I bought them the boxer shorts and they loved them, they had to put them on right away...lol. They are both so funny.

I am getting used to my new computer, it has the new windows Vista. As long as I can play scrabble and blog thats really all I care about...lol. I do like my new keyboard though and mouse. Thay are wireless. Russell came yesterday and helped me out quite a bit. I would have to say anything I know about computers I have learned from him. He installed all my stuff from my other computer and I am sending you a big thanks Russell.

Tomorrow is my oldest sons birthday....he will be 38! Hard to believe such a young thing like me can have a son that old. ;))..I remember the day he was born. When they laid him in my arms I was completely in awe of him! I loved him from the moment I laid eyes on him. He was the cutest baby and so good...he only cried when he was hungry. Well ,Ty, we have had some rough times...but I have always loved you and prayed for the best. We havent always agreed on things, thats for sure. When I look at you I can still see that little boy who thought his Mommy knew everything. I could make boo boos better just by kissing them. I wish I could still make everything better for you with a kiss....but you are a man now doing things your own way for certain. I wish you happiness and peace, and remember...Im the same Mommy who kissed the boo boos and scared away the boogie man. I love you now just as much as I did then. God bless you my son.

Hi Catch, wonderful post, made me feel warm and fuzzy. I have those exact same thoughts about my eldest son.........I remember the day he was born so well........are you like me, do you ever just really miss the little boy that they were to the point it brings tears to your eyes. It isn't that we don't appreciate the men they have become, it is just that we miss that little boy so much. I would give anything to have a few more days with that little boy.....maybe just one more sticky armed hug......

My eldest will be 38 in Oct. And I am so young. .......haha

I remember when he was 7 or 8, he looked at me and said,"gee Mom, I don't know what I am going to do with all your junk when you die." He already had me with one foot on a banana peel and one in the grave, I was only about 25 at the time...haha

I think you are the one who should get the Happy Birthday, when it is your kids birthday, don't you? haha Well it only seems right to me. So Happy Birthday to both of you.

Happy birthday Ty. Glad your grandkids are getting dressed by grandmother. Half the fun of having grand kids is giving them things.
