I have finally recovered from the reunion! I must be getting old. All that dancing, drinking and laughing 2 nights in a row takes a toll on an old broad like me. I keep forgetting Im not a teenager anymore!

This week I am keeping my grand daughter Pacey for 4 days while my son and his wife go to the Beach. Pacey is only 1 so she is just too young to go. Their days would be spent chasing her, keeping her out of the sun and carrying her around, so she is staying home with Grammy. I am looking forward to it. I try to mold her into a mini me as much as I can..lol. 2 years ago when they went to the beach I went to. I really enjoyed it but I want them to have a good time this year, they both work and they deserve this vacation. They will take Zack, my 4 year old grandson with them and it will be good for him to have some Mommy/Daddy time to himself.

The weather has been really hot this week. My Mother is the only one I know who thinks its cold. She gets dressed then puts her big furry robe on over her clothes b/c she says the house is too cold. It must be her circulation. Most elderly people are cold. And of course most of us menopausal women are always hot hot hot! I cut the grass yesterday and I had sweat dripping off of me....ewwwww....I hate to sweat. But I do love to cut my grass. And nothing goes better after you finish the grass as an ice cold beer. It taste so good.

Hey! My ex got married!!! Can you believe that? Im not sure she has a name.....I think its "thirty something"......lol..thats how he describes her.....shes only in her 30's. He really hasnt known her that long so it must have been love at first site. He did bring her up here to meet me and she seems very nice. She is a teacher, she has 3 kids...the youngest being 6 years old. My Ex will be 60 next May. What is he thinking? The last thing I would want to do is start over with some mans kids. Oh well, I hope it works for them, now he will stop coming to see me when he gets lonely and depressed. And thats not a bad thing!
Time for bed......more later.

I bet you'll have a great time with your grandaughter.

How did your ex get a woman half his age?

Hi Catch, we've just spent a week at the beach, and we had great weather, which is a miracle after all the rain we've had this year. I hope you have a great time with Pacey.

My freshly mowed lawn is waiting for your arrival. There's a bottle of Merlot waiting as well.

It is good for us grand parents to give our kids a break by caring for their kids. My mother and Betty's mother did it for us and now we do it for our kids. So you stand in a wonderful tradition.

I give you credit if you're still recovering from the shindig and have enough energy to take care of a one year old! Bravo girl!!!!

And your ex---hmmm....... I think that women in their thirties seek someone a bit older and stable, only because some guys (or most) in their late twenties, early thirties are far from that thees days.

Who knows. But, how does it make you feel that your ex got married? I remember when my ex got married, even though I didn't "love" him anymore like that, I felt strange that he had a new wife. But-----happy for him. Weird emotions, huh?

Hope you're doing well today!

Isn't it nice molding young minds. My granddaughter spent the weekend. I taught her some new vocabulary words and a few tried and true tricks. Her mother will pay for her raising. Buhahahaha
