Memorial Day

I WISH YOU ALL A SAFE AND HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY...PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES OUT OF YOUR BUSY DAY TO SAY A PRAYER FOR ALL THE SERVICEMEN WHO ARE MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO BE HAVING THIS DAY TO CELEBRATE AS WE WISH. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL OUR SERVICEMEN.

People forget, it is good there are people to remind them that freedom is seldom free, it is paid for with human sacrifice. People here in the states feel so complacent, thinking, things will never change. They have no idea how close we came to losing WWII. Things would never be the same if the balance of power were to shift to the middle East. They care not how many they kill, or if they should all be killed, because they feel there isn't much here on earth to live for anyway. As long as there are people who want to take what we have, there will be wars. Simple. And I am every so thankful that we are still brave enough to fight.

Wow, those were great little pictures. I think we all need to concentrate a little more about what this day is about. I know I need to. God bless the troops and all the men and women who paid the ultimate price so we can live the way we do. Have a great weekend, Catch!!

Betty,
Thanks for the nice reminder and the cute cartoons. Without those vets and the men and women serving now, we would not have the the lives we have now. We have much to thank them for.
Hugsssssssssssss

sometimes I goof up the comments pages...either don't choose the right letters to type in or something silly like that.
More often, out of impatience, I press the "publish your comment" button twice thinking I didn't get it pressed before. Then, of course, I come back and find the danged comment TWICE in the space, even the dumb ones....

On the other hand, I thought I told you about a movie, but, not finding the comment I left, I thought I'de mention it again.

'Course it may have sounded like a netflix ad, though I doubt if I will ever actually advertise big money folks.

The movie actually goes over the history of the word F**K and is quite entertaining.
That's also the name of it. F**K.

It's nice to see that some appericate what the men and women have done for that freedom of North America. I know my family appericates it, even though we're Canadian, my husband was there with the Americans...and even though he was lucky enough to come home...he is definately a different man than when he left...the price is high for many but the out come is great for even more.
