I am having turkey, dressing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, candied yams,corn and pumpkin pie. I always bake my turkey the day before and take it all off of the bone, so I will be baking it today. In this country we have many things to be thankful for...our freedom, our families, a loving God and the very food on our tables. Remember to include our soldiers in your Thanksgiving blessings! Have a great one!!!
This is the day of Dr Johns roast. I met Dr John when I first started blogging. He was very kind and left me kind and humorous comments everyday! Thank you Dr John for being the special person we all know you are. Have a blessed holiday with your wonderful family! And I have to mention Betty because she is such a wonderful lady! I am sending big hugs to both of you! Two Very special people!

All our kids are far and wide this year, so the table that saw 25 or more celebrants for 30+ years will be empty this year. D. and I will be dining at our favorite dining-hall this year. No clean-up ;-) no left-overs :-((
