I feel your pain, catch. I can't stand it that everything is in Spanish and English anymore. Especially directions, when they print one paragraph is english and the other in another language. It gets too confusing.
Amen sister! It really bugs me when they expect convenience. If I wwere to move to another country, you can bet I would learn the language! At least they should know the basic English words but most do not seem to know any! I think they are good at faking it, pretending they are too stupid when they enjoy watching us squirm at trying to help them out. OK, I have said way too much....
Here is my opinion on the language thing my bf is from Mexico and he learned how to speak english, slang is what messes him up and what it means you should hear some of the conversations around our house LOL, I am the guilty one for not learning spanish I know a little and I am getting better at reading it, sometimes its very hard and frustrating on both parts. We used to live by some friends of his and every Friday they would ask to order pizza for them, after awhile it would just piss me off and I told them it is not that hard to order a freakin pizza they quit asking me to do it, what made me so mad about it is they could speak a little bit of english then dammit they can order their own pizza. I think I ranted enough LOL. Love you Catch xoxo
hey hey im here thru loris blog, she stole your slide show, i stole hers LOL.... This is my first time at your blog ( i will be back) but i get the feeling you are a fan of legs?
I'm not a leg man so the slide show is ho hum. My grandparents came from Finland and worked hard to learn English and they made sure their children spoke English. They didn't ask the country to learn their language.
This is a comment in hopes that you can help Fuzz with his problem we are holding an intervention for him any help would be tremendous. I know that you visit his blog at times and I hope with the help of friends we can get him the treatment he needs.
