GOT MILK?

This is Pacey. She was eating ice cream. I had to snap this, I thought it was so cute!!

Janice just called.. They are releasing Ed today. She doesnt know what to do. I have no answers for her. This is way out of my league. She took him a sandwich yesterday and he threw it against the wall. She had a physchiatrist ( sp) called in..he said they could commit him but she has to fill out the paperwork and be the one to do it. She ask me what she should do. Again, I had no answer for her. He has finally admitted he has never been to VN. She asked him why he lied....he said " it seemed like a good idea at the time". A lie is never a good idea. If I was her I would leave. But, I didnt tell her that.

The Ex is still here and he seems to be doing better. He has been swimming, playing with the grandkids, and he and my Mother get along well. I am happy to see him getting better. I think his whole problem is that he is lonely.

The weather is still nice and hot. Occasionally some rain. The summer is just flying by. Before you know it, it will be Fall.

Have any of you ever heard of Jamboree in the Hills? It is not far from here. My son and his wife take the camper and go every year. They have a bunch of country singers every day for 4 days. I have never went. It would be too hot and crowded for me. It is starting the 19th of this month. People come from all over the world to be there. The traffic is unbelievable when Jamboree is going on. It is also on tv, so I watch it from the comforts of my livingroom. lol. Anyone ever been there?

I still think Janice should be thinking long and hard about her future with this man.

I know every case is different but I've been where she is and it's not nice. I'm out of it now but the effects of that marriage will always be with me.

That's a good photo to send into for an advertisement.

She's just too adorable.What a cutie.

My 2 cents, Ed does seem like he needs some mental evaluation. He might me bi-polar or have some other medical condition causing this behavior. Since I am not a very trusting person, people who lie, tend to do it quite often and find it hard to stop once they've started. I'm not talking little white lies, I mean the ones where you have to lie and lie again to cover up the first one.

I'm glad your EX is feeling better.
Family is a blessing. :)

Take care,Catch!

I'm with Christine, it seems like he has some mental issues. And I need elaboration on "It seemed like a good idea at the time" (?????) When people get older and sick, they start to depend on people in their lives they didn't treat so well and expect them to step up. I think that is the case here too.

I wish I had advice for your friend, but I don't think she should have it put on her to commit him and have to be soley responsible for his well-being.

Oh, and it looks like that old boyfriends has some ideas about you!

And what about that cutie in that hat? :)

Enjoy your weekend Catch!

Pacey's a doll!

You said that if you were Janice, you'd leave Ed, but you haven't told her that? I'd tell her, in just the same way. You're not telling her what to do, just informing her what you'd do in that situation. It may be something she needs to hear; she may be thinking the same thing herself, but if no one else suggests it, she might convince herself it's a bad idea.

As for Jamboree, I think there is something similar in KS called Country Stampede. I think it's August. It's about 3 hours from here, but I've never gone. It used to sound like a lot of fun to me, but now, not so much.

Cutie! Maybe she should get into commercials? Glad you and your ex are getting along. I think. Oh , but your friend really needs some help. Treatment is very necessary. I'll hope for the best.

Pacey is very cute...and definately needs more ice cream :)
Glad your ex is feeling better.
Janice should sign and have him committed...if not what the hell is he going to be like and what is he going to do once he is at home??? The guy does not sound very stable, I would be worried about her safety. Hope she stays safe.
