Happy Friday!

Thank You so much for all the great birthday wishes! It was a great birthday and I am exhausted! I have shopped, been invited to dinner, cooked out....and it was all fun. My daughter turned 24 on May 3. She was my birthday gift 24 years ago! So it has been a round of celebrations this week. Sorry I havent visited blogs, will try to get back to that tonight.
I was reading the paper yesterday and seen where a man left his 1 year old child in the car for 8 hours ( while he went to work) and the heat was around 140 degrees. How in the world does that happen? With these car seats there is no way you can not know your child is in the car!! Its the first thing you see when you get in the car! When I think of that poor baby my heart aches. I suppose they are going to have to start putting some warning signals in cars now so stupid people will realize their child is in the car.
Its been a beautiful week in Ohio! The sun has been shining. Yesterday my sister in law and I went to the track and walked! It felt so good ...and today is my favorite day of the week...Friday! Nothing on the agenda today thank goodness. My son stopped and got my debit card and went to get the things we need to open up the pool. I guess he will work on that today and then we are cooking ribs on the grill for supper.
My mini blinds needed cleaned so yesterday evening I took them outside and squirted them with the hose, then scrubbed them with a brush and they looked real nice. I had bought new curtains for the livingroom but didnt want to put them up till I cleaned the blinds. Now everything is up and it looks nice and clean.
I hope you all had a great week and an even nicer weekend. Will visit blogs tonight!

Glad to hear you had a good birthday!!

I've heard many a story of people 'forgetting about their kids'...those people need to be shot. Along with those that walk away from kids in bathtubs....I could go on.

Glad you had a good birthday. ;-)

Glad you had a good birthday.

You asked how I got the butterfly cursor. Here is a link to the site:

http://toolshell.com/cursor/

There are several pages of them to choose from. Once you find the one you want, just click in the circle for it and the code for it will come up at the bottom. Then just copy and paste the code into your sidebar.

If you have any problems with it or have any questions, let me know and I'll try to help.

So when you said your son came over and you gave him your debit card, I thought oh, story of my life. Just hand it over, but then I read that he actually used it to purchase something for you! Wow. I am totally amazed, I've never heard such a thing. LOL.

Sounds like you were surrounded with family and friends for a great celebration week! Good for you!

Glad you had a great birthday.

We just had a man leave a baby he says, the parents asked him to watch her for them. Left her in a Motel room all day. The maid found her, thank god.

Enjoy the pool and the ribs.
Have a fun weekend.

I does sound like a nice Birthday, the ones with family and friends are best. I spend way to many birthdays all alone, but I moved away from my family and friends, so I can't complain. I have rethought that decision many times. haha

You made me look at my own mini blinds, yep, they could use cleaning also. I just cleaned the bathtub, I am only good for one cleaning a day.....so it will have to wait.....haha
