Show and Tell

I dont have a lot for show and tell today, but I did take these pics last week when I was babysitting my grandchildren. This is taken from my sons picture window...it kinda looks out onto a wooded area and you see a lot of deer and turkey.

These are a bunch of turkey. My grandson, Zack and I enjoyed watching them.

See the deer? It amazes me how I can look out the window and suddenly along comes a deer or two.

Here he is running back up into the woods. See his white tail? A few years ago a bear was loose up around there. The people who live in that brown house in the picture would see it going through their garbage cans. I was always a little scared of getting out of the car at night up there when the bear was loose. They really dont live out, although in the pics it looks like it. This is right in our town but up on a hill off to itself. Its a very nice , quiet and peaceful neighborhood ( as long as the bear doesnt come back!)

These pictures are great! I love seeing a huge line of turkeys run across my lawn---even though I tend to think about how they'll taste with a side of mashed potatoes... And with the winter, the deer gets this amazing dark coat. They're so peaceful to watch. You're fortunate to have a backyard that allows them to hang around!

Hope you had a great weekend!

This are great shots. It never ceases to amaze me how much energy comes from just the picture of an animal in the wild. Being there to experience the real deal is like 4 times as much energy. It makes you feel that we all are really connected.
Thanks.

I love the turkeys! That's the bad thing about living so close to a city like I do -bad wildlife. All I get are squirrels that invade my rafters & dirty pidgeons!

Very pretty...& I love the template, too!

My parents & daughters both get all the wildlife like this - my parents feed the deer. And I hated to go outside at night when they had a mountain lion on the loose - it's since been caught.

Fantastic views from your window. The only wildlife we've seen is a fox!

I just did my 1st show and tell.

What a view to have right outside your front window. THAT would be cool!

It's nice to come back to see you've switched designs again. I love the strappy sandals at the top! :)
Great pics, Catch! The kids would be so excited if they saw deer and turkey outside their window, that's so cool.
Have a great Monday!

We used to have that kind of view. The deer were a pain in the neck. You take very good pictures. I thought the first one was a painting.

Nice pictures. We have deer that come in the back yard at times, they are looking for food and water. I have noticed a few of the bulbs, don't have leaves, guess the deer found them.
