Who would it be?
If you could have dinner with 3 people, whether they are deceased or alive , who would it be?
1. I would love to have dinner with Jesus Christ. I would like to know what he thinks of our world today. And I would love to see the expressions on people's faces who do not believe in God when He walked in the restaurant.
2. I would like to have dinner with my Father, who passed away 14 years ago. I have lots to tell him and could use some fatherly advice from him. I would be so happy to see his face and hear him laugh once again.
3. I would like to have dinner with my Grandmother Laura. I would take her into the kitchen and show her the microwave and show her a cell phone. She has been gone since I was 21 years old so I know she would be totally amazed.
Who would your 3 people be? And why would you want to have dinner with them?

hmmm tough one
id like to have dinner with my mother. She died two years before my fisrt baby was born. Id love to tell her all about them and ask her all the wuestions I never got to ask her
then Id like to have dinner with my grandfather George. He died a long time ago, when I was just a little girl. He was soooo much fun.
finally Id love to rent a hall and have dinner with all my blogging buddies
1. great grandmother
2. great grandfather
would love to see them, hug them, cuddle them and thank them for the life they gave me. i would love to tell them again, how much i love them and how much they mean to me.
3. my dad...how i miss him and love him..
The hard part is picking only three. I'd be too intimidated to have dinner with Jesus. I think I'd like to dine with
1. Mary Queen of Scots. For her side of the story.
2. Robin Williams to keep things funny.
3. Axel Rose just to see what Mary makes of him.
That is a hard one. But I would pick.
1. Winston Churchill
2. Martin Luther ( but I need a translator)
3. Pope John 23
1.My biological mother to find out what happened (why she gave me up) and to thank her for having me and loving me enough to know shw could not traise me but someone else could.
2. George Washington to thank him for making us a country that was not run by a king even though he could have had that title when we won the Revolution and to tell him I am sorry he lost his son in the last battle of the war.
3. Mary, mother of Jesus. I know being a mother is hard, but it muat have been something to be the mother of Jesus! Can you imagine tryin to raise him???? Did she ever say to him, "Stop that or I will tell your Father!"
I put my answer on my blog
1. My mother...because she died when I was 14 years old. We didn't have enough time together.
2. My father...b/c the last time I saw him he was suffering from Alzheimer's and was basically out of his mind.
3. I'll have to think about this one...
Catch,
Great thought!
I'm going to make this my post for today.
1. My father's father
2. My father's father's father
3. Mary magdalin.
rel
1) JFK to see if there was a conspiracy.
2) Oscar Meier to see what went into the first hot dog
Attila the Hun, John Belushi, and Marilyn Monroe. We would have one hell of a wild dinner party.
Great question Catch.
1. Lao-Tzu, one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived (author of the Tao Te-Ching among others)
2. Groucho Marx, one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived (starred in films like "Duck Soup" and "A Night at the Opera")
3. Laetitia Casta ... for her awesome boobs
I was trying to answer these and I just hit a blank!!! *duh* anyways I could never narrow it down to 3 but if I had to then I would invite our State President, just to ask him what his plans are for the high crime and corruption are in our country! My Great Grandmother, whom I never really had a chance to get to know and then last but not least - Josh Grobain - so that he can sing for me all night long!
Your first two would be who I'd invite too!. I miss my father's laugh and his fatherly advice.
Jesus- I have so many questions to ask him.
The last one I'd have to say would be either Susan Sarandon or Goldie Hawn. I think of them as very strong independent women who have lived very interesting lives.
My main man JC. And my Grandaddy John and my father. All dead people! LOL!
Wow, ....I have to say I would LOVE to have dinner with Jesus Christ- but remember, you can right now. Each time I sit down for dinner, I imagine Him right there with me.
Three people?
1. Oprah
2. George Bush (seems like a party animal)
3. My girlfriend...she'll kick my butt if I don't include her in there... (Britney Spears for real though---she's single now I hear!) ;)
Oh, I'd have to say my Dad as well.
I miss seeing his face, hearing him talk, tell stories, laugh.
Thank God I will see him again in Heaven!
That is a tough one. Jesus I suppose - although he eats dinner with me every night. :) But to sit with Him in person would be so amazing.
My grandpa. He died when I was a kid but was a wonderful loving man.
Maybe my husband? It has been so long since we sat down alone and had dinner. Sad eh?
I agree with your answer to #1 - that is someone I would like to have dinner with too!
2. Would be my great-grandparents (I know that's technically 2 people, but I'm counting them as 1 unit) :) My great-grandfather died a few months after I was born so I never had a chance to meet him. My great-grandmother died when I was 16 and I miss her.
3. My grandmother on my dad's side died when I was 8, I wishe I could have known her better.
wow a touching post!
I'd like
1.To take my dad to have dinner with me, just one more time. He died when he was just 44. I wanna tell him how much I miss. Thats all. I wonder if he knows it already.
2.To take Kurt Cobain out for dinner in the Sydney harbor. I wanna know his deepest emotions and I wanna ask him why he did it. Whether he really did it.
3.To take all my blogger buddies on a dinner cruise. Would be lovely to see em all in real. Just to talk to em and have fun.
thanks for this post!
Keshi.
