Thank You Dr John.

When I got up today my Mother said " a box came in the mail for you." I looked at the box and I said " its my cup from Dr John!", and it was. It is the cutest cup! I just love it! I just want to say " Thank you" to Dr John. He goes to a lot of trouble to make blogging fun for us. Getting all these things wrapped up and in the mail, not to mention the expense of all this, is quite a fete. And I know it keeps him and his lovely wife Betty busy! Not to mention the fact that they are in the middle of moving. I have known Dr John since I started blogging. I dont remember who visited who's blog first, but I always looked forward to his comments. He has been a faithful visitor to my blog and I to his. And I just want you to know Dr John and Betty, I appreciate all that you have done for us. You are the most kind, funny, and unselfish people in Blogland. I love your posts Dr John, especially when you come up with that tongue in cheek sense of humor. I sit here and laugh out loud. You have a sense of fairness that is so rare to find these days. You have made my blogging experience so much fun. Thank you for being you. What have you learned from Dr John? What has he done to make your blogging experience more positive?

Dr. John has taught by example and that is rare. He walks the walks, i think it's the way it is said..

He makes me laugh and helps me to understand better the way people are and why..the way the world works and how..

He makes me feel like i'm part of something important and bigger than just me. He has made a community for all of us in which we have found many wonderful friendships= like yours Catch.

He and Betty are funny and sweet and have an amazing imagination and story telling abilities.

Both are great grandparents and parents and remind me of what i once live with in my early yrs in Boaco.

they have made us all real part of their extended family, how great a gift is that!

Here, here to Dr. John Linna and Betty, the Queen of the Fortress...We thank you and love you so much..

Dr. John feels like that wise uncle...the one we will call, "voice of reason". He knows a lot, but is never condescending and seems to embrace everyone in all of their diversity. He is like a cup of soup...warm and comforting...and that love he shows for his wife is immense and very respectful...i don't "know" any bloggers really, except what they offer up of themselves...which could be true or no...but he and his feel like the real deal.

Catch,
what a nice tribute.
Dr. John and check each other out from time to time, and he's sent a marathon of bloggers around to my place from time to tim. (That's how I met YOU.) He demonstrates that when you put your mind to it you can give warm fuzzsys to folks and be positive in your daily thoughts more often than not.
He and his wife Betty are the personification of the "Golden Rule."
Have a Good day Catch.

I have learned that even being part of a club with useless points makes me feel better.

I have also learned when one has a gift but no longer uses it the same way because of job change or illness, there are other ways to use it....you have to find a way.

I put my cup with my other cups but have not used it yet. I am saving it for a special occasion...maybe when I become a TIPC member!

Dr. John is an amazing resident of blogland. I love his Sunday posts and I don't remember how I found his blog, but he made me a blog of the day once and that helped me find so many great people to share stuff with. Like you Catch!

Dr. John brightens my day with wit, humor, and kindness -- not just though his own blog, but through many of the blogs he has sent me to -- for instance, Catch, that's how I met you!

I have been taught great unselfishness! And a wonderful sense of humor-Pidgeon Fall stories are my favorite things! I will never forget the day when he had first listed my blog on his marathon. It was so exhilerating to finally have a bunch of people come to see me! Thanks, catch, for writing this post and giving me a chance to express my gratitude to him and his wife, Betty!
